To make your homemade tzatziki sauce, you will need 1 cup of diced or shredded cucumber. You’ll do this by first slicing the cucumber in half lengthwise and removing the seeds from the inside of the of the cucumber. Shred or finely dice the cucumber until you have 1 cup.

You will also need one and a half cup of Greek yogurt. The remaining ingredients include two tablespoons of chopped dill, olive oil, two teaspoons of chopped parsley, and two teaspoons of minced garlic. Lastly, squeeze the juice from 1 lemon (this will be around two tablespoons), or simply use 2 tablespoons of bottled lemon juice. Keep salt and pepper on hand to fine tune the sauce to your tastes!

Note: I prefer finely diced for this but shredded works very well if you want a smoother tzatziki sauce. Dice the cucumber larger for a chunkier sauce with more of a crunch to it.
